The premise of "G.O.D. & The Burgeon" is more personal than that of previous albums. Without a great deal vulnerability or letting the listener into his private life, KPW focuses more on his growth as a person from some of the skepticism and jade he's had to overcome through traumatizing experiences. The idea is that God exists in these areas and one is to see God in certain parts of life to help the growth process. "The Burgeon" refers to the growth that takes place in this process.
